    Sex and Porn Addiction

More often than not, porn addictions start with experimental and casually watching porn. And for some people, porn use becomes more frequent. As time passes, a person may feel the need to watch more porn to get their desired high, and soon a person may need more than porn to simply feel “good.” This may lead to casual sex with strangers, lead to the use of prostitution or have multiple affairs.

Porn and Sex Addiction symptoms and behaviors include, among others:

    • Feeling the need to watch porn or engage in sexual activity regularly, which can be daily or multiple times a day
    • Having intense urges for porn or sex
    • Over time, needing more risky sexual behaviors to get the same effect
    • Making certain that you have access to porn or hookup apps
    • Not meeting obligations and work responsibilities
    • Doing things you wouldn’t normally do to pay for sex, such as stealing
    • Focusing more and more time and energy on watching porn or sexual behaviors
    • Experiencing withdrawal symptoms when not watching porn
    • Failed attempts to quit watching porn or obtaining sexual activity

If you can relate to any of the above symptoms or behaviors, it may be time to consider addiction counseling.
